Dirt truck
Dirt truck it is a waste collection vehicle, it is a truck specially designed to collect small amounts of waste and is thrown to landfills and other treatment or recycling facilities.
Models
There are five basic models of waste collection vehicles:
· Front loaders
· Rear loaders
· Automated side loaders (ASL)
· Pneumatic collection
· Deal with trucks
Front loaders
They are general service used in commercial and industrial companies with large plastic waste containers with lids (dumpsters (USA), Biffa buckets or recycling bins being the smallest version of the household. The dump truck is equipped with an automated front fork that the driver carefully aligned with the sleeves in the waste container using a joystick or a set of levers. The waste container stands on the truck. Once it reaches the top of the container it is then turned upside down and the waste or recyclable material is emptied into the vehicle's hopper. Once the waste is poured, it is compacted with a large blade called a "blade packer" that pushes the waste to the back of the vehicle. Most new WCVs have "pack in motion hydraulically", which allows the driver to create a package of loads while driving, allowing faster route times.
Rear loaders
These are commonly used for service in residential areas. They have an opening in the back of which a waste collector can throw waste bags or empty the contents of garbage cans into it. Often in many areas they have a lifting mechanism to automatically empty the cars called containers without the operator having to raise their hands for the waste. Typical containers of size 35-95 gallon per car.
Automated side loaders (ASL)
The side loaders are trucks very similar to the front loaders. The differences are that they pick up the load on one side and only pick up the smaller containers like 96, 64 and 35 gallon containers of dirt trucks with lids, commonly used for the collection of residential waste.
Collection tire WCVs
WCVs pneumatic collection has a crane with a tube and a nozzle that fits into a hole, usually hidden under a plate under the street. From here they suck up waste from an underground facility. The system allows the driver without moving from his seat to pick up even the smallest waste, even if the access is blocked by cars, snow or other barriers.
Deal with trucks
They allow the collection of bulky waste. A large percentage of items in the solid waste stream are too large or too heavy to be safely lifted by hand in traditional trucks. These items (furniture, large appliances, branches, trunks) are called bulky or "extra" waste. The preferred method for collecting these items is to deal with a truck. These trucks have a hydraulic articulated arm, tip with a bucket bucket, and usually include a landfill trailer.
